About the Creator

Hello, it’s me, Noelle J. Wilde. My story with art started as a small child who liked to play dress up and was drawn to sparkly and shiny objects like a raven to treasure. Throughout the many twists and turns of my life, my one constant star is my drive to create. I was made for art and art was made for me. Inside my brain is a kaleidoscope of colors, images, patterns…all vying for me to birth them into reality. I imagined up Shattered Glassworks to labor my pieces into the world, so that you might have as much joy viewing them in your home as I did creating them. You’ll notice themes in my work of the things that have shaped me, and will always be a part of my story - themes of a botanical lover, an Emergency Room worker, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and someone who is awestruck by stars, moons and planets. Most of all, my theme is that anything shattered can be re-forged to become something infinitely more beautiful than before. The wing I have tattooed on my shoulder, and the one that makes my logo, is one such symbol that I have carried with me for years. The idea that something that was once shards and painful edges, can now be crafted into the thing that makes you soar. Welcome to the space where I will turn my broken pieces, and yours, into something spectacular.
